AMAZING!

15 Comments/ 3056/ 0

Oops–had the caps on there and didn’t realize it but I am going to leave the title in caps just because!  It is true!!!  You guys are amazing!!!   Imagine my surprise to the reaction when I listed my Comments for a Cause Charity this month to be National Down Syndrome Society .  Not only have I had more traffic to my blog than ever, the comments are piling up and quite frankly it has me somewhat stunned!  What a great community of folks are out there who support loved ones who have Down Syndrome or Trisomy 21 as many would prefer to call it.  Awesome!  Amazing!  There are not words enough to describe.

In case you aren’t sure how to leave a comment it is really quite simple—at the end of each post there are labels of words that are relavent to the post.  After that you will see (in red) the words “post a comment”.  Hit that and a comment box will appear.  If it is your first time commenting I will have to “approve” you. This is just a formality to limit spam on the comments that come in . No big deal and a small step in the whole process.  I really do appreciate each and every comment and try to reply back to each one.  It may take awhile but I try!!!

If you are in the dark about what I am talking about—go to this post to read more and don’t forget to stop by and read Carlton’s story here on the NDSS website and vote for him.   I am not usually so shameless in asking my readers to do something for me but this is different.  Carlton is excited about this.  I read him what I wrote, asked his permission, of course, and now he wants to be famous!!! He especially wants the actors in Hollywood to read it so help me out there, won’ t you???

You can also subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a boring, dull, mundane,  exciting post!  Just enter your email addy in the top left hand box where it says subscribe to this blog and you will get an email mail when I make a post. Easy peasy.  It is how I keep up with a lot of blogs and it is easier that way for me—maybe it will work for you too!

Another big news thing is that Bernie from One Mixed Bag has a new Etsy shop called Budagalee!  Her homemade cards are terrific and they are going fast!  I am sure she will have more to offer soon and I know she is going to be challenged to keep up with the demand but check it out!!!

Before I leave you this morning I just wanted to leave you with 3 more spam comments that made it through my filter to keep you chuckling!  Have a great Friday !

I happen to be commenting to let you be aware of of the awesome encounter our princess gained viewing your site. She mastered many details, which include how it is like to have an excellent teaching mindset to have the rest with no trouble completely grasp selected advanced subject areas. You undoubtedly surpassed my expected results. I appreciate you for giving those necessary, trusted, explanatory and cool tips on that topic to Julie.  (A princess?  Really???  Incredible!)

Hey there, you have superior writing skills. I require a good article writer for my cause. Am I able to employ you to publish a couple of articles for me? Will pay you.  (Just sitting back waiting for the money to start rolling in!)

My neighbor and I have been just discussing this specific issue, he is generally trying to show me wrong. Your view on this is outstanding and exactly how I truly think. I just now sent him this great site to show him your own view. After looking over your blog I book marked and will be back to read your updates!  (This time it is the neighbor instead of the cousin!  Wow!)

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
