I was thinking about all of the places I have been and all of the things I have done and suffice it to say I have experienced a lot in my lifetime and hope that there is still a great deal of runaway ahead of me. One of our greatest adventures was living in Australia for a year and while we were there we tried to make the most of every day and have as many adventures as we could. Of course we barely touched the surface of what could be done but at least we had some adventures.

The following picture will always be one of my favorite pictures. As we were driving somewhere in the country side we drove by this mailbox. A repurposed microwave. It was so perfect and it really was an indication of the Australian mentality –repurpose and reuse. It made me laugh and still makes me laugh today.

Pictures have a way of bringing back memories and times and I doubt I am alone in having favorite pictures that elicit those memories. Aren’t we just the lucky ones to be able to look at a picture and remember a fabulous time or event in our lives? Yes, a million times yes.
