We got back from the beach on Sunday, had a day of rest on Monday and headed to Georgia to pick up our new kitten Misha on Tuesday. Life has been so busy lately with no sign of slowing down. It’s what us retired people do, right?

So, Misha. She’s just adorable. We are smitten. Maksim is curious but they have not done much more than sniff each other and run in the opposite directions. The good thing is he is not hiding like I thought he would, Misha is settling in and feeling comfortable and soon they will be buddies. First meet and greet pictures.

I had forgotten how fun having a kitten is. She is already 3.5 pounds at 12 weeks and full of energy. Of course she has her own private room (aka powder room) at night or when we are not home . No way can I have this little thing running around on her own with no supervision. I bought a collar with a bell which is essential in tracking her. Life is good.
