Yes — Independence Day is a bad day to be a hot dog as Aaron and Erin’s hats pronounce. I had to giggle at these hats that Erin’s sister got them to wear for the Fourth of July.

The day included a quick trip to downtown Brevard to take in the Shindig on Main which included raising the flag and reading of the Declaration of Independence.

A quick stop at Kilwin’s for some ice cream for all .

And yes— we had hot dogs as well as brats and burgers later on. A good day even if it was hot, hot, hot. How did you celebrate the day this year?
