Enough Already!

9 Comments/ 213/ 0

Low temperatures and snow have settled in over our little paradise. I am going on record to say “enough already”. I am over it. I don’t mind the occasional snow — we haven’t had any for 3 years so it was time but usually it snows, sticks around a day and then melts off. Not this time. Our lower than normal temperatures mean that the snow is here for awhile. Boo.

.

Oh it is pretty and we have a great guy who comes and plows our long driveway for us but still. It’s worn out its welcome.

.

I actually put a bird feeder out for the birdies and the squirrels have been cleaning up under it.

.

The lake has been really pretty with the snow on top and has been very picturesque.

.

.

Aaron told me I should take Maksim out in it since he is a Siberian but I decided to bring the snow in for him instead. He was not impressed but Holly licked it for a bit.

.

So what’s the weather like where you are? Next week looks cold and the long range forecast has more snow. I am trying to be patient and tolerant but enough already. This warm weather girl is looking for some sun and warmer temperatures.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
