Do you have a song headache already from that title? It only seemed appropriate as I looked out from what will be our new library space at Connestee Falls on Thursday evening. We had a little meeting to get our library angels (our name for our 30 + volunteers) together and as we viewed the space that we will eventually be moving the library to we all gazed out in amazement at the sunset.

We don’t often get to see the sunsets from our house since it faces the wrong way but every morning I scan the skies outside our bedroom doors and windows to see the sunrise. We get the most beautiful sunrises across the lake and tonight I was happy to take in the sunset. Isn’t it just amazing how beautiful our earth is?
As I walked to the clubhouse for my get together I passed the manmade waterfall that resides outside the new activity and wellness center. Our cold temperatures have taken a toll on many things and this was one thing that showed the effects.

Even in its frozen state it is beautiful and a testament to the beauty that is all around . If only we all took a little bit more time to appreciate what is right before our eyes. This is one of my goals this year –focus on the beauty in my surroundings just a little bit more and appreciate the Creator.
