I never gave much thought when I was younger about where I would live in my lifetime. I have had the pleasure to live in some pretty wonderful places but the one that always makes me smile from ear to ear is our current home. A short drive and we can be on the Blue Ridge Parkway where it is simply stunning.

My brother Mark was here for a week to escape the heat of Arizona and we took a nice drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and had lunch at the Pisgah Inn which is always a fun time.

But first we stopped at Looking Glass Falls for a quick look.
