It’s true!  How wonderful to be 85 years old and be in South Carolina!  Of course you know I had to take a picture of this great idea!   Yesterday was shopping day and of course we have a lot to choose from!!!   We hit one of the outlet malls and this was stenciled on almost every door of the stores there (regardless of if it was a store targeted toward a different segment of society) .   I never knew that anyplace did this.  Sure I know of the lovely AARP discounts (they keep sending me stuff and I keep throwing it away—I am not quite there yet!) and all the other senior citizen discounts but not this.

I commented to one of the sales clerks in one of the shoe stores about this and she was like “yea, I guess we do that but I don’t even know how to enter it on the computer” so I guess folks don’t take advantage of it too much.  I guess 1 % isn’t all that much but every little bit, huh.   Maybe the problem is you have to show proof of your age or you don’t get it.   Think people are shy about that???

Thanks to Carla Jo for “introducing” me to this fitness counter. Only problem is it only does pounds and not ounces….slow and steady will get me there.
