Our stay in Homer,Alaska was only 3 nights but we packed a lot into it. Homer is on the shores of Kachemak Bay, home to the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World and also the City of Peonies. It was a lovely town and we enjoyed our stay there. We spent some time just wandering around the famous Spit which is a 4.5 mile long narrow peninsula that juts out into the Kachemak Bay. There was plenty to explore and it was fun to snap a few pictures of things that we saw.

I always love to see the names of boats and I only took pictures of a few of them but they had fun names.

Flowers in Alaska were all amazing. I guess all that sunlight is helpful for raising beautiful flowers.
