Later this week I will be sharing a delightful find in Sylva, North Carolina that Chris and I happened upon a few weeks ago. One of the wonderful areas in the Museum of the American House Cat included a section with cat teapots and tea kettles. Of course I was all over that and decided to go ahead and feature them today on Teapot Tuesday.
It was a little difficult to photograph some of the teapots because of the glass cases they were n but you get the idea.
I have several cat teapots in my own collection and am thinking I may need to do a theme month of cat teapots. What do you think? Comment for a Cause and let me know what your thoughts are on these teapots.
Thanks to Darlene Foster for another great quote.

Leave a commentMy daughters and I will have to make a pilgrimage to this museum as we are cat people (with 2 dogs).
Come back all week! It’s pretty amazing!!!
These teapots and other items with a cat motif are great!! Yes, you should have a cat month featuring your cat teapots! Glad you liked the quote. xo
Okay—I will round up all the cat teapots and see what I can come up with!
Well look at that! Cats AND teapots. ‘Purrfect’ for you! Yes, bring on the kitty teapots. 🙂
Kitty teapots are definitely a thing so I will have to feature mine again. Stay tuned.
I like the (black glass?) cats…but they need matching cups! Wonder if matching cups are on sale on Zazzle?
Let me know if you find any! That is a great idea to have cups to go with it!
Who knew there was a Museum of The American House Cat???! Love the pics, and yes, you definitely need to do a month of Teapot Tuesdays with a kitty theme!
Okay–a month of cats coming up soon! This museum was pretty amazing!
Yes you should have a month kitty theme. I love the pictures. They are all different in their only way.
Okay—I will work on that! Thanks!
I had no idea such a museum existed…what people don’t think of to showcase. I’m sure it’s a big draw. Is there a resident cat?
No cats in the museum but the museum helps fund his no kill shelter. It is pretty amazing when you walk into the small space and see all the cats!
