Things That Make Me Go “Hmmm”

7 Comments/ 428/ 0

You know what I am talking about, right? When you see something out of the ordinary and you just think to yourself or maybe even mutter out loud “hmmmm”. Translation: what on earth?

After our trip to Raleigh to be with all the family for Thanksgiving (and yes – we had an amazing time), I was putting a couple of loads of laundry through the washer and dryer. When i was folding one of the loads of my clothes I found this at the bottom of the clothes basket.

.

Now if you can’t quite make out what that is, let me tell you. It is a small piece of a zipper. Probably about 2 1/2 inches in length. Gray. Just a random piece of the middle of a zipper.

Now I didn’t have anything gray in the wash. I didn’t have anything with zippers at all. I did have a couple of new tshirts I had gotten as layering shirts under things but nothing that was this color.

So where did it come from? I have a theory but I would love to read what you think. Fill me in in the comments and Comment for a Cause for Sharing House while you are at it.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
