One of the things that we wanted to do with Theo when we went to Nova Scotia was to visit the Bay of Fundy and walk on the ocean floor. We went to Burntcoat Head Park where the highest tidal change ever was recorded at 16.5 meters—that is 54 feet. So you can imagine how impressive it is to see the cliffs that are exposed and then covered in water all in the matter of 6 hours or so. Twice every day The Bay of Fundy fills and empties its 100 billion tons of water which just boggles my mind.
.
There was a lighthouse there which we have seen before but it is always great to look at lighthouses in my opinion.

I took a bunch of pictures but.most of them had the family in them so the ones I will share will be of the beauty of the area. It was not as muddy as I remembered it being the other time we visited but it was still very impressive.

We spent a lot of time looking in the tide pools and found lots of creatures which Theo loved.

I marvel at nature and being someplace like this is one of those once (or twice ) in a lifetime experiences that I will always remember.
