It was a first for me. I have seen a lot of lighthouses over the years but this was the first one that I have seen with cows. Chris and I left to go see the Enragee Point Lighthouse located in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia. It was one that we had looked up and it was close so we headed out in our rental car to see the lighthouse.
The road was dirt and very bumpy and we were bouncing around in our rental car but we did okay. Then we saw the Caution Cow sign and looked at each other.
.
We proceeded with caution and then were rewarded with this view. Nice, huh?
.
We kept driving and then the lighthouse came into view.
.
Complete with cows grazing all around. It was quite the pastoral scene.

I gave her a bit of room and then went to look at the lighthouse a little bit closer. It was such a beautiful setting with the craggy rocks in the background providing a backdrop to the water below.

It was a fun morning exploring and a memorable lighthouse experience to say the least.
