Chris and I popped into town earlier this week primarily to see the new mural painted by Billy Smith on the crosswalk at Broad and Jordan Street. If you missed that post click here to view a pretty amazing work of art.
While we were in town I snapped a few pictures – spring is definitely in the air and on the ground if you count all the yellow pollenated surfaces. There are a lot of interesting things to take pictures of in Brevard as you can see.
Several shops had t shirts out on display that were just too cute.
This little fountain outside the jewelry store is awfully cute.
The toy soldier outside O.P Taylor’s Toy Store is keeping it safe.
I love our little downtown and the courthouse is always one of the most photographed spots. The Bradford Pear trees that line the streets may be considered invasive and not loved because of their fragility but I love them.
A quick stop at Sully’s Steamers for a yummy lunch in one of the many outdoor public spaces that the city has created for folks to use since the pandemic started has been a really great thing for residents and tourists alike to enjoy al fresco dining.
Have you been able to get out and about this week? How’s the weather in your area? We have had a mix of rain and sunshine with colder temperatures towards the end of the week but spring is definitely here.
