And Now A Word From Our Sponsors

10 Comments/ 4087/ 0

My recent attendance at the BAM (Bloggers At Midlife) Conference  allowed me the opportunity to meet with some great companies who were sponsors of the conference.  It takes a lot to put together a successful conference and one of the most important pieces is getting appropriate sponsors for the conference.  In my opinion the organizers hit it out of the park with the sponsors that they were able to include for the 2016 conference.

I don’t want to sound like a commercial but today I would love to highlight 3 of those sponsors who  made the conference even better.

First up is Chico’s.  Most of you are probably familiar with the Chico’s brand and they were the perfect match for this demographic.  The representatives that they sent were lovely ladies who shared some really great products with us.  They even encouraged us to take extra items to give away on our blogs to our readers which was very generous of them. (Unfortunately I forgot to do this. )chico'sI came away with a sweet pair of sunglasses, a shirt, bracelet and a foldable tote bag that will be perfect for traveling.  Fabulous products for fabulous ladies.helloI even got the chance to wear my sunnies and shirt last weekend at Kiawah Island.
boiron

The second company that I was very impressed with was Boiron USA. I had not heard of them before for some reason but the representatives at their table were so enthusiastic and generous with their product line samples. According to their website Boiron was founded in 1932 in Lyon, France, by twin brothers and pharmacists Jean and Henri Boiron. In 1983, Boiron came into the  United States by buying John A. Borneman & Sons, Inc., in suburban Philadelphia. Borneman was a family business with four generations of homeopathic expertise focused on supplying medicines directly to physicians and the public throughout the U.S.  The company continued to grow and develop and has become a big name in the homeopathy world today.  I walked away with plenty of items to help with allergy symptoms, aches and pains and the dreaded menopausal symptoms. my kit I especially liked the convenient My Kit storage that holds 3 small blue tubes for an on the go traveler like me.  They offer an app in the App  Store that allows access to find the perfect homeopathic medicine for whatever symptom needs to be addressed.

Finally I have to give a huge shout out to Phil Hollows of Feedblitz.  This is an email marketing solution for online businesses and while Phil charmed us with his lovely British accent he went above and beyond by providing the services of lovely Lisa Lehmann as a photographer.  Lisa took around 70 headshots during the conference and edited them and provided each of us with a wonderful picture that we can use on our blogs and online.  She was so great at making what can be an agonizing experience quick and fun and I love the way mine turned out.  Lisa also has a jewelry business so make sure you check out her site at Studio Jewel.  I am looking forward to receiving a special necklace from her thanks to sending a link to the family.  Don’t you love how easy it is to shop these days?  bethann beth.chiles@gmail.com

There were plenty of other sponsors who provided the attendees with some seriously wonderful products but these were at the top of my list.  For a full listing of all of the sponsors you can check out my previous post by clicking here.  Thanks to each sponsor for their support of midlife bloggers.
