Bedside Reading® – New Concept in Hotel Services

130 Comments/ 624/ 0

Bedside Reading® is an amazing program that I have recently become acquainted with through fellow blogger Lois Alter Mark. Lois blogs at Midlife at the Oasis–brilliant blog name in my humble opinion. Lois has partnered with them and is hosting monthly giveaways on her blog so you will most definitely want to check that out.

I was so excited when I first read about Bedside Reading® that I reached out to the company to tell them how amazing I thought they were.  I don’t do that often enough and am trying to share appreciation when it is deserved.

So what is so special about this program?  Read on.

Bedside Reading® puts books in selected hotel rooms  in luxury hotels.  The program matches books with upscale hotels and provides stacks of books in hotel rooms for guests to enjoy while they are there.  They are also invited to take the books with them when they leave if they want to.  How many times have you traveled and either left your book at home or finished the one you brought?   This is the answer, my friends.  You can imagine how excited I was when I first read about the program.  Lois wrote an amazing article for Forbes that you can read by clicking here.  It is a really top notch article that gives you all the info on the program.

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely am a book lover.  That was why I reached out to Jane Ubell Meyer, Founder and CEO,  to tell her what a brilliant idea I think this is.  Jane graciously emailed back and offered to allow my readers to be a part of a giveaway.  Some lucky reader of It’s Just Life will receive a selection of 5-7 books mailed directly to their  home simply by leaving a comment on this blog post.  How easy is that?  I don’t make you guys go through hoops to win good stuff, do I?

Jane also sent me a few copies of some of the current offerings for my own library and I was thrilled when that package arrived in the mail.  Just look at these lovely books.  I promise I will share them in my Little Free Library when I am finished with them.   Well, maybe not the Make Yourself Cozy book because it is amazing.

Not only is this a great program for readers it is an amazing opportunity for authors to get exposure for their writing by working with Bedside Reading® to get their books included in the program.  Can you imagine?

If I seem a little overly excited about this I am.  Good things keep coming my way and this is just one of the good things that I can share with my readers as well.  Please feel free to share with your reading friends.  Not only can you enter to win books here you can enter monthly at Midlife at the Oasis and on the Bedside Reading website.

One reader of It’s Just Life will win a selection of books by simply leaving a comment on this blog post .  The contest will run from today until November 16, 2018.  The winner will have to agree to share their address with Bedside Reading  so the books can be mailed directly

It is  a win win because each comment on It’s Just Life this month  means a 50 cent donation to our Comments for a Cause – The Todd H. Bol Vision Fund to help promote Little Free Libraries.

Thanks again to Jane for the wonderful books and the opportunity to share with my readers.

Old Girls in Low Cotton
