Cupcake To Go?

I had been trying to figure out what to write about today…..I have been disturbed watching Animal Hoarders shows and thought about that but somehow that was just too upsetting !  Then I thought about writing about what we are doing for our upcoming Think Spring party but would rather wait till I can post pictures of yummy food !!!  I have  adorable cat pictures I can post but then I somehow found this link to a video and article about a stay at home dad outside of Chicago who built a cupcake car!!!  Now I know my niece would love to have one of these but honestly–who thinks about building a cupcake car??  I am amazed!   Pretty cool and at the end of the video they say that the police say it can be used on the street.  WHAT?   That is craziness.   I forsee accidents of epic proportions because you know if “I” were there I would be snapping photos of it and not paying attention to my driving!!!

Having a lot of trouble posting the video—sorry—-hopefully you can go here and see it. Grrr…..Hate it when links and videos don’t post correctly and I don’t know it until too late!!!!

This video came off of a blog for WGN9—Chicago TV station with Marcus Leshock being the reporter.   What do you think?  Want one?? Fairly inexpensive to operate but I worry about where I would put my groceries….

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

I loved this book! It had my interest from the very first page and was my "airplane" book on a recent trip. Author Mary Kubica created believable and interesting characters that the reader learned to identify with and care about. Mi...

All the Light We Cannot See

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
