Another part of our recent Midwest trip included a trip to Sioux Falls –home of the fabulous Falls Park. The park has over 128-acres and is located just north of downtown, along the Big Sioux River. On average, 7,400 gallons of water drop 100 feet over the course of the Falls each second. It Is a really amazing place and has so many vantage points to view the falls. We spent some time walking around and enjoying the views.
If you are ever in the area of Sioux Falls this is a definite must see on your itinerary. The park is free with plenty of places to park, picnic, walk, and take in a lot of history. A perfect excursion for a day trip to take in some of God’s handiwork.
