Finally….Good Customer Service!

Leave a Comment/ 1352/ 0

My car wouldn’t start yesterday.  Battery was dead as a doornail ( and isn’t that a funny expression?) so I had to call AAA to come out and help me.   Fortunately the car was in the garage so I wasn’t stranded anywhere and it was no major thing.  Chris called a local place to find a battery and I was going to go there to get that put in.  THEN Frank’s Repair showed up …..the guy had had the forethought to bring a battery!  So no muss, no fuss, he installed it right then and there and I was back in business.  If you think about it that makes good sense for them!  They get the AAA call, get money for that, and if they can assist further it only is a good deal for them, isn’t it?  I guess I am just so used to things being so complicated that I was thrilled that this guy did this for me!  He got a nice tip and a shout out on my blog! Thanks to Chris from Franks in Clear Lake!!!

The continuing saga of Delta continues.  I got a letter dated Sept. 17th apologizing for my last luggage fiasco.  It also informed me that a check for my submitted expenses would be coming under a separate cover……October 5th and nothing yet……

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
