23 Comments/ 2959/ 0

Today is Friday which means it is time to join up with Hilary and her Friday blog hop over at Feeling Beachie.  If you want to join in on the fun hop over there and sign up.  Please feel free to leave any of your “answers” in the comments here also.   I love to hear what we have in common.

followfriday_edited-2-1This week’s statements:

1) I hate when I _____
2) I sometimes long for _____
3) Thinking about ___ always makes me ____
4) My favorite day of this week so far was ___ because____

My answers:

1) I hate when I can’t place where I know someone from.  The memory just isn’t quite as sharp as it once was.
2) I sometimes long for the days when I had toddlers because each day was filled with new discoveries and adventures.
3) Thinking about my daddy always makes me smile because he was such a genuinely caring and special man.
4) My favorite day of this week so far was  Sunday  because I got to spend the entire day with my husband.

I also thought I would add a few photos of fabulous food that we had on our recent trip to Wyoming.   Enjoy!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

I loved this book! It had my interest from the very first page and was my "airplane" book on a recent trip. Author Mary Kubica created believable and interesting characters that the reader learned to identify with and care about. Mi...

All the Light We Cannot See

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
