As promised this week I will share a few posts from our recent trip to Jersey City, New Jersey. It is really difficult to believe that we have been home a week already. I am missing Theo (and Micah and Wendy and Corgi Penny) so much. As I was looking through the pictures I realized the majority of them are of Theo. Imagine that.
Today I will share just a few pictures from the neighborhood and areas where we walked. I have lots, believe me, so these posts may go on for quite a few days. But hey– it’s armchair travel for my readers so sit back, grab a beverage and a snack, and enjoy.
First up — the view from Micah and Wendy’s balcony is pretty fabulous, don’t you think?
A walk on Saturday morning found us on the waterfront – pretty amazing view.
My favorite building.
Penny vied for our attention the entire 10 days. Trust me, she was NOT neglected.
Truth or fiction? I wonder.
The following group of pictures is from the first Polish Catholic parish in New Jersey founded in 1874. It is fairly close to where Micah and Wendy live and is a stunningly beautiful building.
Every turn, every corner, every street has something new to discover and revel in. I know I looked like a tourist but that’s okay, right?
Finally, this little rat just didn’t move fast enough. Kind of glad I didn’t see him alive. Come back tomorrow for more fun from the city.
