Street Art in Jersey City

6 Comments/ 78/ 0

As most of my readers know I am a huge fan of outdoor art installations of any kind. Walking around Jersey City offered a lot of opportunities to see some great artwork and I barely saw any of what was available. Next trip we will explore more.

But for now just enjoy a few pictures of fun things we saw on the streets of the neighborhoods we walked while we visited.

Which one is your favorite? I love the ones that were painted by the street drains in chalk and apparently there are a ton of them. Of course when it rains they fade a bit but I imagine new ones reappear.

Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know what you think in the comments and Comment for a Cause for American Macular Degeneration Foundation.

These are so cool! I love street art too. We once came across a town (in Wisconsin, along Lake Superior) that had murals painted all over. It was so much fun to wander there!

I love stuff like this too. I think my two favorites are Michelangelo and the mermaid tail and bubbles.

As you know, I’m a major fan of outdoor public art also. I can’t choose a favorite. Thank you for sharing these.
