Guilty Pleasures and Power Rangers—And No-That is NOT my Guilty Pleasure!

22 Comments/ 2339/ 0

Each week, Hilary at Feeling Beachie  lists four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. This week’s co-host is Sarah from the Mama Pirate. She submitted the last two statements!  Please help spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1. ___is my least favorite household chore
2. ___ is my guilty pleasure
3. In the __________, I think ___________.
4. My favorite ___________for _________ is _____________.

  1. Emptying the dishwasher is my least favorite household chore.  Silly, I know, but I hate it.  There is always something that does not get clean or something that falls down to the bottom of the dishwasher and then I have to contort to get to it, etc.  Ain’t a pretty sight, believe you me!

  2.  Watching Days of Our Lives is my guilty pleasure.  Shocked???  Been watching since I was about 15 and babysat for the Kackley boys.  Their mom had it on when I got there every day and asked me to watch the rest of it and tell her what happened the next day …I blame it all on Teresa Kackley wherever she may be today!

  3. In the middle of the night , I think “I just wish Carlton would go to sleep and stop watching the Power Rangers”.  You have no idea folks!!!  No wonder he  lost weight with all that jumping and running around!!!  🙂

4 My favorite tool for the kitchen is the Pampered Chef chopper which I sadly did not bring to Ohio with me so I have to do all that chopping by hand now.  How sad.

Don’t you love all those answers???   Today is the continuation of bathroom demo day —bathroom one is about halfway done—taking it down to the studs and put in a new subfloor.  Cats are quarantined in the “pink room” for the duration. When I let them out last night they were thrilled with the brown paper that the contractor had put down to keep the carpet clean.  Tunneling under it, walking and running on top of it to hear the crinkle—it was a fun night for them!!!  You can no longer be a ninja cat in the house.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
