I’m In Love

Leave a Comment/ 1832/ 0

It’s true.   I am in love.  I just discovered a new apple.  It is delightful!   AND it comes from New Zealand!   One of my favorite places in the whole world!   Ran across the Sonya apple at Target yesterday and bought a couple just to try them.   Anything that says New Zealand on it is like a huge neon sign to me that says “buy me buy me”.   Just because.   I love this apple!  It is crisp and light and simply wonderful!  I love this time of year because the apples are so good and since I am trying (though not always successfully) to eat a bit healthier I have tried to include more fruits and vegs in my diet.  Enter the apple.  I do admit to slathering a bit of peanut butter on them at times and sometimes even a bit of a great peanut butter raspberry spread that I got at Harry and David’s the last time I shopped at the outlet.   The price is a bit costly—(why is eating healthy always a bit expensive?) because the Sonya apple ran $1.89 per pound so these 2 little beauties ran me an even $2.00 which is a bit pricey but well worth it in taste.  So go out and find a Sonya apple, treat yourself to a delicious fall snack and enjoy!!!!  Tell me what you think!!!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
