Last week I promised another post about Greenwood, South Carolina. and today I wanted to share what was my favorite shop in the cute little town. Of course we didn’t go into every single place and we probably missed some great places but Main and Maxwell topped my list of favorite places without a doubt.
Located on the corner of Main and Maxwell, in uptown Greenwood, South Carolina this shop that opened in 2016 offers a selection of high-quality art and handcrafted pieces at all price points. It is a feast for the eyes when you walk into the building and Ann and I both found plenty of things to catch our eyes. From pottery to jewelry, paintings to candles, ceramics to woodworking there are items that would appeal to anyone looking for that perfect gift.
But enough talk – how about some pictures of this great space and all that it has to offer?
One of my favorite things in the store were these charcuterie sets made of up cycled objects to be reusable. I learned that the local homeless shelter puts these together to sell and I absolutely love the idea.
I think this is one of those shops that you can visit weekly and find something new and different. There are a lot of nooks and crannies.
Main and Maxwell also offers a variety of classes which are listed on their website here. They all look really great.
I think this is the first stop I would make on a return trip to Greenwood and I think you can see why. Thanks for coming along with me today on my little BFF get away to Greenwood, SC. Check out their website here and visit their Facebook page here.
