After a year of trying to convert our former Australian grill to an American grill unsuccessfully (it is going to supposedly become a charcoal grill…..we shall see) we bit the bullet and bought a new grill. Now it has been sitting in our garage for about a month due to our traveling and not being around to start “The Project”. It is one of those things that you have to get geared up for, you know??? Kind of like going to the dentist. Gotta get in the right frame of mind.
The good news is that the grill is now assembled. It really only took about 2 hours but you really can’t do it alone. At times you have to be a contortionist to fit the screws in where they are to go. We soooo missed Aaron. He is always the grill putter together dude and has done the last couple that we have had. Yes…we are hard on grills. The one in Australia was assembled by he and Thom (his friend) and it took them forever . Plus they were doing it in incredible heat.
So hopefully we will finally use the fabulous grill today. We got it moved and located and it is ready to go—-just had to wait for the weather to stop raining and the time to be right. I am thinking shish ka bobs…..
