My People Necklaces – The Perfect Gift

28 Comments/ 511/ 0

People.

We all have them.

Those people that “get” us.

The people that have our backs and support us in any way that they can.

I have been blessed to have a lot of those type of people in my life over the years.

One of those special people is my friend Diane.  I first found Diane through a friend of a friend of a friend.  Or something like that.  It really does not matter.  Diane is a blogger like me and she has a lot of the same morals and values and life outlook and that is what made me love her and her blog.  She has had a couple different versions of her blog since I first started following her but the current one, Discovering Diane – Journey to Joy and Authenticity  is the perfect place to find uplifting and challenging posts.

To say that I am a Diane fan is to speak the truth.  She has become one of my favorite Facebook friends to follow and I love her faith and outlook on life.

So what do friends do when other friends do something pretty cool?  We share that cool thing with others and since I have a blog that is my chance to share with all of you.

Diane has started a Facebook group, a business of sorts, to promote the whole concept of My People.  You can find that link by clicking here.

Her mission is simply:

Women showing their love and appreciation to their women friends and family who support them no matter what.
Don’t we all just need that?
I know that I do.
So Diane decided to make some necklaces to go with her vision of women showing gratitude for one another.  Her is her story.

My People Jewelry is born from my love and gratitude for my friends & family, aka “my people,” who continue to support me and my family during a very difficult and dark time in our lives. To show my people my love & appreciation for having my back, I made and gifted them heart necklaces. They were touched by this simple gesture, which made my heart soar.

I decided to create additional heart necklaces and other jewelry items (coming soon) so you can purchase these gratitude tokens for you and your people. They are guaranteed to bring a smile to their face and, in some cases, a tear to their eye.

Each item is made with love for not only my friends, but yours as well. As women, we rely on one other in good times and bad and when there are no words to speak. We laugh, cry, rejoice, grieve and watch each others backs. That’s the message My People jewelry is meant to convey.

Diane has a couple of different types of necklaces on her site now and they are as beautiful in person as they are in pictures.  You can trust me on this one, folks, and some of you may be getting a little surprise in the  mail when I get my act together.  The bonus is that they won’t cost you and arm and a leg.
