Living in the mountains of North Carolina is pretty fabulous every day of the year. One of the bonuses is the number of great pottery artists that make their homes here and have their shops sprinkled all around. Almost every local shop has some type of local pottery featured so it is always exciting to find a teapot among other pottery pieces.

One of our local shops, Lezard Brevard, recently closed as the owner retired from that business. There were all kinds of great sales going on and I went in the very last week and scooped up this fabulous teapot for a mere $15.

I absolutely love this teapot. The green color is lovely and the unique style had me hooked the minute I saw it on the shelf. And don’t you love a good sale? I think it looks great above my fireplace with all of my other special pottery teapots.
