I posted an article from The Charlotte Observer before about this topic and it looks like as of Wednesday this week diners will be allowed to take their dogs AND cats to some outdoor patio dining areas in the Charlotte area.  I had several comments on this before when I posted and was pretty interested in the responses.  Take a look at the comments after the article and you will see that it is indeed a hot topic.  We love our animals. Of course we do!  And come on, folks, it isn’t like they are going to be IN the restaurants. They are on the patio!!!  And most people that would take their animals to al fresco dining have well behaved pets!!! Otherwise it wouldn’t work!  They will NOT be near the food and the servers aren’t going to be parading them around.   But regardless of what “I” think–what do YOU think?  Good idea or bad?
