Road Tripping

20 Comments/ 521/ 0

Another road trip to Ohio is in the books and we are happy to have been able to go. However, it is always great to get back home. Home to our own bed and our kitties who have missed us. The first thing we do is open all of the doors so they can look out and bird, squirrel and deer watch. Life, once again, is good.

Chris and I loved spending time with all of the family that we could see. Of course I didn’t take pictures and I regretted it but Chris did manage to take this picture of my sister, niece and great niece so I guess this one will have to do for now.

My niece and her family just got a new puppy so I did manage to take a few pictures of her doggies at play.

We even spent a little bit of time walking around our alma mater, Ohio Northern University, as we usually do when we visit Chris’s sister and brother in law.

The library where I spent many hours.

These are a couple of the nice murals they have decorating the buildings.

.

The chapel where we got married.

And I couldn’t leave my friend and couch buddy out — Marshall. I took more pictures of him than of anything else. I think you can see why.

We are so happy to be able to see family as often as we do and this trip was to see our siblings which is always fun. The travel sometimes wears us out but in the end – it is worth every bit of tiredness.

Hope your week is going well. Leave me a comment and let me know what is going on in your world and Comment for a Cause for National Parks and Recreation Association.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
