Teapot Tuesday and More!!!!

14 Comments/ 2222/ 0

Can you believe I have been doing Teapot Tuesday for over a year now and I have NOT repeated any teapots???  I got 5 for my birthday a couple of weeks ago so I am going to be highlighting them over the next few weeks!!!   This is one that my sister, Paula, got me at a local antique shop.  I love it!  I have no idea how old it is but it has seen some love over the years!   I have yet to brew a pot of tea in it but I will!   I think it will be very hot in this metal pot!

The other great news is that today is the day I announce the winner of the Gadanke Journal from Gadanke, of course!  I used a random number to select today’s winner and assigned numbers by using the order that comments were made.  Now without any further fanfare the winner is……..number 18 who is:

SUZIE  from the blog The Sound of Bright Copper Kettles

Congrats!!!   You can go to the Gadanke website and pick out which one you want!!!!  I will be emailing the winner to get all of the details but don’t despair if you were  not the winner.  Sweet Katie has given us all a 10% coupon to use to buy whatever we want!!! Here is the info:

Code:  OPERATIONSHOWER

Expires May 20 at midnight  MDT (that would be Mountain Daylight Time)

Thanks, Katie, for the great coupon and for all the wonderful journals that you have available for us to get writing!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

I loved this book! It had my interest from the very first page and was my "airplane" book on a recent trip. Author Mary Kubica created believable and interesting characters that the reader learned to identify with and care about. Mi...

All the Light We Cannot See

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
