Teapot Tuesday – Friends Who Fill My Collection

22 Comments/ 437/ 0

Teapot Tuesday has become quite a thing here on It’s Just Life and I can say that many people associate me with teapots.

Go figure.

I can’t tell you how many times I get “tagged” on Facebook or Instagram in pictures of teapots or teapot themed items.  I love it.  I guess it is better than my other occupation which seems to be Crazy Cat Lady.

So when friends see things and actually buy them for me because of my obsession collection I get excited.

Today I am featuring a couple of those gifts.

First up my Mooresville friends Ann and Judy went to an estate sale and found these cute little ornaments for me.  I adore the blue and white colors and since I have several other teapot ornaments I need to just dig them out and put together a teapot themed tree, don’t you think?

The only problem is where to put it.  Hmmm.  Space is at a premium in our house and while I am desperately trying to declutter putting a tree up of some sort seems to be going against that decluttering mode.  But trust me – if I do it you will see it here.

My second gift came from none other than my author friend Jena C. Henry .  I wrote about our meet up last year at Lakeside and our shared love of all things Lakeside, books and Ohio.  I also featured her in my Noteworthy Women series. You can read that post here.

We met up again at Lakeside this year and she brought me gifts.  The perfect tea and jelly combo that I had stuck aside and am looking forward to devouring opening this week.  Aren’t they just perfect and isn’t she just the best?

So thanks to friends who keep the gifts coming, the tea flowing and the collection growing.  Y’all are the best and I am always happy to be tagged in pictures of teapots or all things tea related so keep em coming.
