Who doesn’t love an animal themed teapot? Today’s teapot features an Etsy find and is a Japanese Relco handprinted bulldog teapot. These were quite popular in the 1940’s so I imagine that is most likely the time frame of this pot as well.
The lid has a little bit of a crack in it and the paint is rubbed off in various parts of the teapot but just look at the expression on this face. I absolutely love it.
I think I love this teapot with all of its flaws and imperfections. It has character and character I hear is a good thing to have.
