Teapot Tuesday – All the Way from Paris

20 Comments/ 473/ 0

Teapot crazy?  Maybe a little bit.

On our recent trip to Europe to celebrate as our oldest son’s wedding we spent 5 days in Paris decompressing post wedding.   It was the perfect way to unwind and bask in the glow of the wedding festivities.  We did only what we wanted to do, walked everywhere, ate amazing food and saw as much as we could see of the wonderful city.

Of course my eyes were always on the lookout for a teapot.  How could they not be?  I had one carry on that had been designated for wedding stuff that had either been left behind or shifted to a checked bag on the return trip home so I had plenty of room.

On our last day we went shopping and bought all of the fun souvenirs that we had spotted earlier in the week.  But surprise of all surprises I spotted a teapot and with my addiction to macaroons (which also made an appearance in our luggage on the trip home) it was THE perfect teapot to buy to remind me of our trip to Paris.

Just look at the adorable macaroon on the spout of this little one cupper.

I think you have to agree that this is possibly the most perfect little teapot for me to bring home from Paris.  And what about those macaroons? Yum.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
