10 Random Questions

20 Comments/ 518/ 1

If you had the world’s attention for 30 seconds, what would you say? Be kind. Just be kind. It costs nothing to smile at someone, open a door or offer assistance. Be kind in your words and your actions. Our world would just be so much better if we all extended civility and kindness without expectation of anything in return.

What is in your fridge right now? Lots of grapes, apples, almond milk and creamer, eggs, a ton of broccoli and kale, homemade broccoli and potato soup, yogurt, salad items, leftovers from a charcuterie board, tons of condiments and salad dressings and wine.

Where do you not mind waiting? Just about anywhere because I always have a book or Kindle with me.

What was the best thing before sliced bread? Definitely e-readers. Being able to have access to tons of books without lugging them around is the best thing ever.

Would you rather be trapped in an elevator with three men with body odor or three wet dogs? Definitely with the three wet dogs.

If you could change one thing about your upbringing what would it be? Have a bedroom to myself. I always had to share with my sister until she moved out.

Do you recycle? Definitely. Anything and everything. As a matter of fact I love to go to the dump. My favorite thing is tossing my glass items in the glass area because it makes a beautiful sound.

What do you think about clowns? Depends upon the clown but most of them are okay with me. As long as they don’t chase me.

What sound do you love? The sound of the ocean. When we stayed in Hawaii we had a killer room and I could hear the surf without opening the door. Loved. it.

The best part of waking up is? My sweet husband next to me.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines
by John Green
Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
