10 Random Questions

20 Comments/ 108/ 1

If you had the world’s attention for 30 seconds, what would you say? Be kind. Just be kind. It costs nothing to smile at someone, open a door or offer assistance. Be kind in your words and your actions. Our world would just be so much better if we all extended civility and kindness without expectation of anything in return.

What is in your fridge right now? Lots of grapes, apples, almond milk and creamer, eggs, a ton of broccoli and kale, homemade broccoli and potato soup, yogurt, salad items, leftovers from a charcuterie board, tons of condiments and salad dressings and wine.

Where do you not mind waiting? Just about anywhere because I always have a book or Kindle with me.

What was the best thing before sliced bread? Definitely e-readers. Being able to have access to tons of books without lugging them around is the best thing ever.

Would you rather be trapped in an elevator with three men with body odor or three wet dogs? Definitely with the three wet dogs.

If you could change one thing about your upbringing what would it be? Have a bedroom to myself. I always had to share with my sister until she moved out.

Do you recycle? Definitely. Anything and everything. As a matter of fact I love to go to the dump. My favorite thing is tossing my glass items in the glass area because it makes a beautiful sound.

What do you think about clowns? Depends upon the clown but most of them are okay with me. As long as they don’t chase me.

What sound do you love? The sound of the ocean. When we stayed in Hawaii we had a killer room and I could hear the surf without opening the door. Loved. it.

The best part of waking up is? My sweet husband next to me.

Beautiful list of responses here! It sounds like you are living life quite well. Your gratitude shines through here. (And I so agree with you about the three wet dogs! Lol!!!) Though I can’t force myself to go for an e-reader, though. I’m an old-school book. (I think it’s latent rebelling to the threat of being forced to do online teaching.)

The first automatically sliced commercial loaves of bread were produced on July 6, 1928. So the best thing before sliced bread was probably the automobile which has made getting around so much easier. I just saw a cute post on Facebook that said Betty White was the best thing before sliced bread as she was born in 1922. I could say the same of my dad because he was born in 1924! I agree, the e-reader is one of the best things since sliced bread!! Great questions.

Love these. I love the sound of the ocean too. Just told hubby this morning that I also love the sound of rain and sleeping while it rains. It’s so soothing.
And I’d be lost without my Kindle. Would have never been able to make my reading goal last year without it.

Fun list of questions and your answers were so interesting to read! I have to agree with most of your answers especially about being kind and the sound of the ocean. I’ve never been chased by a clown so I’m okay with them. 😉

This soup was pretty good and I just threw things in and didn’t have a recipe. Sometimes that is the best way to cook.

Great answers to your questions. Kindness is important every second of everyday for sure. I too love the sound of the ocean, so peaceful. Clowns were fun until people took it and made it ugly and scary.

Kindness is very important and we all can do a kindness daily that just might help change someone’s day.

Love your #1, Beth Ann, and I had to giggle over the three wet dogs. But I’m terrified of clowns — even driving by the Ronald McDonald one outside a McDonald’s gives me the shivers!!

Clowns are just not the thing that anyone really loves to be around anymore. I think long ago they might have been fun but now they are just creepy and scary.
