A repost but a song that has been in my mind again lately.
A song has been going through my head lately and it definitely got me to thinking. How do you measure a year?
If I measured it in cups of tea–that would probably be at least 500 cups—who am I kidding? 730 is more accurate.
If I measured a year in blog posts it would be about 300 give or take a few.
If I measured a year in date nights with the hubby it would number between 52 and 100.
If I measured a year in treats given to our cats, Maksim and Holly, it would be a million, most likely. They are pretty spoiled, after all.
If I measured a year in happy moments it would be impossible to count.
The one thing that I do know is that my years are measured by my relationships and friendships that span the United States and beyond. I am blessed beyond belief and can not put a measurement to those at all.
So for today I choose to celebrate my 525,600 minutes in love!
How about you? How would you measure your 525,600 minutes?
Seasons of Love (Rent) Jonathan Larson

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes – how do you measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love. Seasons of love.

In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried. In bridges he burned, orthe way that she died.
It’s time now to sing out, tho the story never ends let’s celebrate remember a year in the life of friends.
