Alice in Wonderland on Teapot Tuesday

16 Comments/ 422/ 1

Teapot lover, that is me.

I have the best friends in the whole wide world.  Some of my best friends are people I have not even met in real life yet –does that surprise you?   It shouldn’t.  Bloggers are a special breed of people and we make long lasting friendships.

One of those blogger friends is Hilary who blogs at Feeling Beachie.  That is where I first found her and I have joyfully followed her adventures over the years.   She recently has had a career change but the thing that makes me happiest is that she is a published author.  It has been really fun to watch her develop her writing and publish not just one but three books and has another one in the works.  How exciting is that?

But I digress.   Hilary sent me a surprise package a few years ago and it made my day.  You can see why.

Just look at this little cutie of a teapot.   Alice in Wonderland makes an appearance complete with her own cup.

Don’t you agree that I have the best friends?  Including YOU!

Thanks for stopping by.  Don’t forget to leave a comment for our Comments for a Cause –Hurricane Harvey relief through UMCOR.  For each comment during the month of September Chris and I will donate $1 for relief efforts.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
