I know she won’t be happy that I posted her picture for all the world to see (yes—I do indeed have a world wide following!!!Ha!) but hey—you only turn 80 once in your life! And today is the day!!! My mom turns 80 and let me tell you—she has a lot more going on now than I do!!! Let me tell you—when I try to call her–she is never there! Always running around, doing things, helping others, volunteering, singing in the Chorale, etc. But it is awesome and I am so grateful that she chose to be at Copeland Oaks where she has such a great support system and can be near healthcare and all when she needs it! What a blessing!

So on this day I am grateful for her and for her always believing in me—trusting me and being my friend! Not everyone can say that their mom is their friend but I can and I have been blessed time and time again by her wisdom and her constant faith. She is an example of a Godly woman who really lives out her faith and if I can be half the person that she is I will be happy!!!

So Happy Birthday, Mother! Don’t be mad that I am posting this picture of us—it is definitely one of my favorites!!!
