I Am Blogging This

52 Comments/ 6088/ 0

As a blogger I find things everywhere to write about.  It is kind of a joke in our family and I am sure it is the same in many families where there is a blogger.

“So Mom, you gonna blog about this?”

“Why do I have to wait to have you take a picture of my food before I can take a bite?”

“Do NOT put this on your blog.”

I think most bloggers can identify with the fact that almost anything can become a blog post.  Really. It can be.  I have blogged about the strangest things.

  • A Hair Brush called Old Trusty
  • Poop
  • Fuzzy and Wuzzy
  • Smiley–the Resurrection of a Hermit Crab

Those are just a few examples.  So of course I was ecstatic when I was cruising around on Etsy and found this fabulous cup cozy. I Am Blogging ThisSeveral of you saw me post a picture of this on Facebook and loved it so guess what?  I will be giving one away!  Shop owner Diane from Etsy Shop Knotworks has an amazing collection of items for sale and together we have worked out some details and I will be happily giving one of these fun mug cozies away to one of my lucky readers.  All you have to do is comment on this post and tell me what your favorite feature is on It’s Just Life.  Not only does it give you an opportunity to win it also gives me some feedback on what you like to see on the blog.  I will announce the winner on October 24th so that gives you plenty of time to leave a comment. (Thanks to Marci who told me I had put AUGUST as the date initially.  Good grief.)  Feel free to share the post with others so that they can have a chance to win as well.

Diane has also graciously agreed to give anyone a 20% discount on one of these to anyone who hops over to her other site to order. BLOG20 is the coupon code which will give you  20% off that one single item. Anything else you order would be regular price on this link . You will need to click on this link to take you to that site (Etsy is a little harder to do the discounts so this will be easier on Diane.)  { Side note: some of her items are more “adult themed” or have language that could be offensive so please be aware of that. }

So there you have it.  A wonderful fun giveaway.  I have used this every single day since receiving it and it keeps my coffee and tea cozy warm.  I can’t wait to give one to one of my lucky readers. Don’t forget to order one of your own with that 20% discount code.  If you win you can share the wealth. Plus every comment goes to fund Comments for a Cause.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
