Mike Marshall spent some time with us the other night–what a talented and wonderfully gifted man he is! He is an artist in many ways and was happy to share with us. He brought along a bunch of games and we had a blast playing around with them. A couple of the men got pretty competitive and most of the games involved throwing things which seems to be a man-thing!!! The above picture is one that hangs in the Tree of Life that he painted in the batik style. The great thing about this week is that we are learning from some of these folks who actually live the life and know the culture and heritage. Awesome and amazing that we have these opportunities to learn about a culture far different than ours.
