My Mug O’ Comfort Arrived!!!

36 Comments/ 4200/ 0

P1010483A few weeks ago I joined up with the ladies over at Chaotic Goddess Swaps to join in on their Mug O’Comfort Swap.  It was pretty simple—just agree to follow a few guidelines, make a couple of blog posts and send a basket of love to someone else.  Of course since it was a Mug O’Comfort swap one of the items had to be a mug and some fabulous things to put in the mug.

I got matched up with the lovely and witty Jenni from Sincerely Jenni.   We both live in Iowa and have “met” virtually as she has a fabulous feature on her blog on Wednesdays where she highlights Iowa bloggers.  I was featured a few weeks ago and we hope to meet in real life in the next month.  So when I found out that she was my swap mate I was thrilled!

I set out to get some things to send to her and was thrilled when her overloaded box arrived for me!  She definitely spoiled me with her lovely selections which  included some lovely caramel flavored coffee, some great K-cups to use in my Keurig, some hot chocolate and mocha packets, a lovely tin of flavored coffee that will probably be used for creamer, some Milano cookies (how did she know my favorite?), a beautiful mug and a cute little pack of chalkboard coasters.   It was a wonderful gift to receive on yet another cold Iowa winter day.

I will definitely be checking out the Chaotic Goddess Swap site again because it was fun to shop for someone else and of course fun to receive that package in the mail.

I have the kettle on so stop on by—-I am happy to share!  If you want to see what I sent Jenni you can click here to go to her post with her goodies!mugocomfortFEB2014

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
