You hear that phrase all of the time – one in a million. Let me tell you –I am married to that one in a million guy and today is a special birthday for him. I am whisking him away or as he says “kidnapping” him for a very quick birthday get away. Will it be epic? Probably not. It’s just not the right time of year to take a long trip so that will come next year but for now a quick overnight getaway will have to do.
When you meet someone and fall in love you don’t always know what is ahead and that is true for our marriage. We have had our share of ups and downs but I wouldn’t change a thing. I don’t know that everyone can say that but I am happy to say that our time together has been pretty wonderful.
Today as Chris turns 65 I am celebrating him and the man that he is to me. He puts up with my love of cats, my incessant volunteering that requires him to be a book mule among other things and my penchant for jumping out at him to scare him. I am so grateful for this man! Join me in wishing him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
