Teapot Tuesday —Christmas is in the Air

9 Comments/ 99/ 1

Another Tuesday. Another teapot. This one has been featured before on It’s Just Life but don’t you just love it?  All decked out in leaves and berries and perfect for the season that is upon us.4teapotAnd of course the words on the back of the teapot make me smile as well.

3teapotThe little tree on the lid makes a great handle and is the perfect way to lift the lid.

2teapotSo cuddle up on the couch with a good book, a cat or two (or even a dog), pour yourself a Christmas cup of cheer and enjoy the lights on the tree. Sounds like a perfect way to end the day, doesn’t it ?

“But when we consider how small after all the cup of human enjoyment is, how soon overflowed with tears, how easily drained to the dregs in our quenchless thirst for infinity, we shall not blame ourselves for making so much of the tea-cup.”
― Kakuzō Okakura, The Book of Tea

I really like this one as well – it has a nice, pleasing shape! Sturdy, but delicate too! A little like family relationships! 🙂

I have been cuddled up to my dog, now that I am back home in Spain, with a cup of tea of course. Love this teapot too. The quote is perfect.

This one is perfect to have some pine needle tea in!!! I remember my grandma used to make it on the old black stove and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. It’s loaded with Vitamin C so great for our winter …. and COLD/FLU season. And it actually tastes not too bad. Of course the smell is divine too.
