Teapot Tuesday – Pumpkin Time

12 Comments/ 587/ 0

I have several pumpkin teapots in my collection and this one is one that I got at a Kitchen Collection store at least 12 years ago.

It comes out in the fall and currently resides on my counter where I have several on display.  It is the perfect pot for fall.

As always, thanks for stopping by to check out Teapot Tuesday. I love how many people come just on Tuesdays to see what is featured. Don’t forget to leave me a comment – we are winding down our Comments for a Cause – Warm Coats (and More) for Kids Come back on November 1st for the results and the reveal of the new Comments for a Cause.

..Mr. Hanway endeavours to show, that the consumption of tea is injurious to the interest of our country…. he is to expect little justice from the author of this extract, a hardened and shameless tea drinker, who has for twenty years diluted his meals with only the infusion of this fascinating plant, whose kettle has scarcely time to cool, who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight, and with tea welcomes the morning.

Samuel Johnson, 1757

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
