The JAX Weekend – Heavy on Pictures – Super Heavy on Pet Pictures

18 Comments/ 53/ 2

Meet Diego and Fajita my grand kitties.  They are wonderful fluff balls of love.

But what are they looking at?

Meet Penny aka Lady Penelope the Corgi – my grand puppy and bundle of activity which explains why the cats are on the mantle.

Diego likes high places. The higher the better.

A couple hours at the beach and Penny provided much entertainment for many especially during her sand rolling escapades.

Anxiously waiting for her mom and dad to return from their walk.

They built her a little shade fort between our chairs and all that poked out was a paw.

Someday maybe I will live in a marble house like this one down the street from Aaron and Erin.  It is pretty spectacular .

I was spoiled by Aaron making me espresso.  Yum.

“That dog is gone finally” sighs Diego.

“Life is good” purrs Fajita.

A secret spot makes for a great picture.

Lake views are always wonderful.

A new favorite shop very much like my favorite shop in Brevard was found and I will be back every time I visit.  Loved their store and their selection.

A relaxing weekend with family was just what the doctor ordered.  Sometimes you just gotta make time for family, right?

Today is the last day to Comment for a Cause for Bread of Life.  Come back tomorrow for results and for the reveal of our new Comments for a Cause.

Great pictures! Love those grandpets. We had a cat that slept on top of the fridge all the time. Scared our guests often as they opened the fridge and looked up to see two green eyes staring at them! Dot loves digging on the beach too. She would love to play with Penny.

OH yes! I can imagine your guests did not expect a cat on top of the fridge. Cracks me up when Diego goes as high as he can go.

What a wonderful place, and GREAT pet photos….that marble house reminds me of the golden era houses in Rhode Island. Wait. Is this Jacksonville FL? I have a friend there and I haven’t seen anything like this…hmmmmmm

It was in Jacksonville! They live in the Avondale area close to the river and it was on our walk into the center to get dinner. Pretty amazing place.
