Using Apps for Good – Great Use for Amazon Prime Now

6 Comments/ 64/ 0

Sometimes technology gets a bad rap.  Social media can be turned into a negative thing but there are times when it serves a greater good.

I ran across an amazing video on Facebook that really made me stop and think about how we use technology.  This, my friends, is brilliant.  I know that there are good people everywhere in the world and videos like this just affirm that in my mind.

Now we don’t have Amazon Prime Now where we live but then that doesn’t make any difference.  I could just do the shopping myself but honestly – how cool is this idea?  The video is short so take a look.

One person starts a simple act of kindness and the ripples (Be the Ripple)continue to grow.  All it takes is one person.

So step up.

Do something.

Today.

Buy a pair of socks for a homeless person.

Open the door for someone.

SMILE at someone.

Be the ripple.

I’ve seen this, brilliant. It’s not here either but some iteration of the idea would work here.

Wow, I am overwhelmed. My husband and I give to the homeless when we can on the street and through a mission we have here call the Norfolk Union Mission.. This ideal is awesome and amazing. God bless everyone that does it.
