Wow! What a great picture. Where did you take it? My guess is in a lighthouse.

You guessed correctly! The Marblehead Lighthouse in Marblehead, Ohio. My favorite one.

Sadly the picture won’t load… But I do know it’s stairs! LOL… Our rural internet putters on.

Oddly fascinating…I’m one of the people whose fascination with this type of view really is a neurological condition that borders on vertigo. Usually I enjoy the pictures, and if there’s something to hold onto I enjoy the views, in real life…*because* they make me just a tiny bit dizzy. If I’m in poor condition, I might feel unpleasantly out of balance, might even fall over. (So far I’ve not actually fallen while having this reaction, but people who have it *do*.)

I have never climbed one of those, but might have to try it one day. It seems a tad claustrophobic.

Yep-most lighthouse stairs are pretty tight and closed in . Not recommended for those who are claustrophobic at all!

My guess was going to be a lighthouse, too. I’ve never been in one, but it looks like an interesting climb!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
