You Can!

6 Comments/ 1704/ 0

There are a lot of amazing stories out there.  And there are a lot of amazing people.  I have come across quite a few in my life and am grateful for the chance to sometimes see life in a different light.

I ran across this video today of a father and son—Rick and Dick Hoyt.  It is a true example of the love of a parent.  I am so proud of our two boys.  We have been so blessed in our lives with healthy, intelligent, motivated and truly caring children.  I thank God everyday for them.  I am the proud momma—if you have followed my blog for any length of time you know that.  But this video really touched me today when I viewed it.  It is the true measure of the love of a parent.  We don’t all have bodies that “cooperate” or are “normal”.   This video is worth watching just to see how this father and son show their love for one another.  Awesome.  I hope you have an incredible day.  I plan to!!!  Spread some love out there, will ya???

I have seen this before but it is still very touching. Amazing how determined the father is to look past the disability of his kid and help him be as active as possible.

Old Girls in Low Cotton
