What’s On Your Camera Roll?

48 Comments/ 470/ 0

It’s been a long time since I did a What’s On Your Camera Roll post so today is the day.

Having cameras on our phones has certainly changed the way we look at things, hasn’t it?  Pictures are easy to take and share and we can delete any that don’t suit us really easily.  I almost always have my phone with me so it is always ready to take a picture of something that strikes my fancy.

So please enjoy these random pictures from my camera roll from the past couple of weeks with a few explanations where needed.

First up – goats, all the goats. This one was at Antler Hill on the Biltmore estate.  I love goats.

Updated the books in my Little Free Library. There are some really great ones in there so I hope some folks stop in.

This one falls in the Cats are Weird category.  Holly is definitely not very lady like at times.

White squirrel spotted while going to a concert at the college.  He posed for me.

One of those Facebook recipes I had to try but first I had to watch the video and change grams to ounces since there was no real written recipe.  It came out pretty good but will know what to tweak next time.

The up side of all of the rain that we get is that our waterfalls are gorgeous. This is Connestee Falls close to our house.

Meet Bo (or Beau) that was walking with his owner at the Art in the Park.  He is a French Mastiff and adorable.  If you look at the right of the picture you will see the drool towel that his owner carries with him.  Note the drool starting to drip at the left.  He was adorable and got a lot of attention.

My buy at the Art in the Park was this beautiful small bowl made by 92 year young Bud Roberts.  He is one of my people. Anyone who knows me well knows my affinity for older men.  This guy was adorable and talented.  I told him I expected to see him there next year.  He smiled and said he sure hoped so.

After a long day who doesn’t deserve a little couch time?  Chris and Buddy snoozing made me smile.

Tell me- what is on your camera roll?  I would love to know.  Tell me all about it in the comments and leave a comment for our Comments for a Cause – Toiletry Drive.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
